The sliding temperature control allows modelers to set the precise temperature level needed, meaning no more risk of too-cool or too-hot settings as with a two-position switch. A red LED shows the tool is "on", and intensifies with a higher temperature selection.

Two special-purpose tips are included with the Trim Sealing Iron: a deep, rounded tip for fillets and curves, and a thin, flat, narrow tip for hinge gaps, flat areas and tight corners. Finished with BlackstoneTM; covering for incredibly smooth control and perfect finishes.
